One of my favourite cities in Europe is London. I just love this city. It's thriving, it's inspiring, there's so much to see and do. I have been so lucky to have had the chance to visit London quite a lot of times in the past ten years. When I am in London now, the thing I most enjoy doing is take the Underground train to any station and just start exploring from where I get off the train. London is a great city for exploring. It's impossible not to find a cool independent shop or two, a fancy coffee place or some inspiring street art. And when you get tired, the Underground is never far away. Or if it is... there's always a bus stop close by. Even just sitting on the bus is entertaining. There is just so much to see.
When I was younger I always wanted to live in London (wait, I still do). An old Rolling Stones music video made me dream about it.
At the moment we are actually looking into moving to the United Kingdom. But it is not going to be London unfortunately. It's not convenient for work and also, it's just too expensive.
So I just keep on dreaming. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to call this city my home. In the meantime Rotterdam is pretty cool too.
